DEAR READER,

Have you ever felt an impulse so strong that you just had to act on it? It feels like the greatest “Ah-ha” moment you’ve had up until that point. For me, creating this online journal felt just like that: spectacular, but tremendously frightening. The idea lingers in your brain, you start to overthink— excitement, courage, and insecurity roll into one. That’s exactly what the thought of creating this project felt like for me. 

The foundation of the blog is somewhere between a mix of lifestyle and fashion, with a touch of  optimism or cynicism—depending on what kind of day I’ve had. It is a narrative of my life as a millennial living in the Bay Area.

Please understand that my intent is not to brag or flaunt about me nor my world. What I want is to give you something to read, that portrays the reality of our rollercoaster life. I want to show you that not everyone is perfect, and not every situation is ideal… and guess what? That’s normal. 

My goal with this website is that someone will read this, and it will give them something to relate to, to laugh, and to learn from the mistakes of others. I hope that my journey so far will help you accept yourself, and everything that has happened in your life. We all have our issues, and hopefully you will realize that that’s okay.

I wanted to create something that had every topic imaginable put into it. Like I said, it’s going to be a mix of a lot of things, sometimes emotional, other times lighthearted, and, when the situation calls for it, advice that I wish I had beforehand.

From tearful life stories to fashion, beauty and travel, I hope that there is at least something of interest or inspiration to you. So, join me every other Sunday to escape from whatever your troubles may be by reading my entires, and hopefully take something from it.
